The Tomorrow Foundation exists to advance mental health and social wellbeing across Australia. We work to improve outcomes in suicide prevention and gender-based violence, while strengthening the emotional fabric of communities through education, connection, and prevention-focused initiatives.
We believe every person deserves access to opportunities that build empathy, resilience, and a genuine sense of belonging. When people feel supported and connected, communities are safer, stronger, and better equipped to thrive.
Too many Australians are still affected by preventable mental ill-health, isolation, and gender-based harm. These challenges are complex, long-term, and deeply connected to how we learn, relate, and care for one another.
The Tomorrow Foundation exists to fund prevention, not just response.
By investing early in emotional literacy, respectful relationships, and community connection, we help reduce harm before it happens. Your support enables us to move upstream and create lasting change that reaches schools, families, workplaces, and communities across the country.
When you back the Foundation, you’re backing a tomorrow where wellbeing is built in, not bolted on.
We channel funding into three interconnected focus areas that strengthen Australia’s social and emotional wellbeing ecosystem:
We invest in evidence-informed programs that build emotional literacy, empathy, and resilience from an early age. This includes school and community workshops, educator training, digital learning, and rigorous impact evaluation.
Investing in prograWe support grassroots and prevention-focused initiatives that strengthen belonging, safety, and mental health. Our funding helps address isolation, violence, and distress at the local level, creating healthier, more connected communities.ms that are proven and evaluated
Working alongside schools, families and local organisationsWe back new ideas, research partnerships, and scalable models that drive measurable, sustainable change. This includes social innovation pilots and collaborations that shape a more emotionally intelligent Australia.

Everything we fund is guided by three principles:
Focusing on early intervention and long-term wellbeing
Investing in programs that are proven and evaluated
Working alongside schools, families and local organisations
By bringing these together, we ensure every dollar creates meaningful, lasting impact.
“We started this work nearly a decade ago with a simple goal: to hold space for the conversations that could shift a life. The Tomorrow Foundation is about making sure those conversations can keep happening at scale, with integrity, and for years to come.”
- Tom & Paige Harkin, Tomorrow Foundation Founders
