Tomorrow Woman and Tomorrow Man acknowledge that our offices are on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nations.
Ryder is a dynamic personality known for his unapologetic extroversion and his infectious energy. Inspired by his childhood idols, Macaulay Culkin and Jim Carrey, Ryder aspired to be a famous actor.
As late-bloomer, who felt insecure about being different, Ryder aimed to prove his masculinity through fighting, risk-taking, and competitiveness. His life changed when his coordinator saw his potential and sent him to audition for a training slot at the Reach Foundation. He was chosen and there, he learned to channel his intense energy and leadership skills, and crucially, to develop empathy.
After a decade with Reach Foundation and in his pursuit of storytelling, Ryder made his mark by creating over 300 mini-documentaries, exploring the world of social taboos, and bringing to light the stories of unique individuals. Gaining experience as a producer for shows like ABC’s ‘You Can’t Ask That’ and Hamish & Andy’s ‘True Story’, Ryder proved his knack for compelling storytelling.
But, his journey did not stop at production. Ryder channeled his leadership and empathy into a role at Tomorrow Man. Despite having to choose between his love for production and facilitation, Ryder took the plunge and found a way to combine his creative energy and passion for uniting groups into his role.
As a father to two boys, Ryder is am example of the positive impact in challenging traditional masculinity. He believes in fostering environments where men can expand their horizons beyond societal stereotypes.
After two decades in the field, Ryder still thrives on the joy of facilitating workshops, finding inspiration in every surprising or profound story he hears. When he's not working, Ryder loves spending time with his friends, his music, his ever growing hat collection, and watching NBA games. A local footballer and a family man, Ryder is equally passionate about his personal life as he is about his professional journey.
