Raised in a matriarchal household, with a strong feminist mother, Amity always felt empowered to pursue any dream regardless of societal gender norms. Her family moved around a lot in her younger years which set her up for feeling comfortable in the unknown.
Her curiosity for life led her on a journey filled with travel, part-time hospitality roles, and nomadic fruit-picking adventures. But by 24, she was keen for something more challenging.
This drive drew her into the world of IT in the Finance sector gradually transitioning into Marketing. Her vast skill set and life experiences have seen her navigate situations as varied as decommissioning and migrating the Lehman Brothers intranet post-Barclay's acquisition during the GFC, to orchestrating the birth of a brand from just a logo at Tomorrow Man.
Being a mother to both a son and a daughter, Amity deeply understands the societal pressures and stereotypes imposed on individuals. This personal understanding, combined with her belief that we are all responsible for shaping the world of tomorrow, strongly resonates with Tomorrow Woman's vision.
She’s an Aussie beach girl who’s converted to country life, always looking for ways to slow down. Her happy place is in the kitchen nurturing the people she loves with home cooked food. A life long learner she has a voracious appetite for anything that supports growth in herself and her people.
